What is a Classic Combi Premium?

The ChickenGuard© Premium is our best selling door opener, offering peace of mind for you and protection for your hens from foxes and other predators.

As well as the easy-to-programme timer, the additional built-in light sensor means you have two options for maximum security and peace of mind. The full Manual Control Feature and unique Failsafe Mode also provide increased security and flexibility for timings.

An integrated LCD screen ensures it is easy to set up and alter timings when necessary. You won’t need an 8 year old to programme this door! And we have even designed extra big buttons so you can programme the unit with your gloves on in the winter – we really do understand all about bad weather.

And The Wooden Door Kit?

We have specifically designed the Door and Runner Kit to maximise smooth and safe operation for our Door Opening units, and to ensure the protection of your chickens isn’t compromised.

The runners are handcrafted from American white oak chosen for it’s superior strength & durability in inclement elements.

The runners will last between 8 & 10 years without treatment, but for added longevity and aesthetics, applying a clear wood lacquer will bring out the detail of the beautiful white oak.

The pre-drilled runners are supplied with 6 stainless steel screws, as they won’t rust. Neither will brass screws, if you prefer those visually.

The aluminium door has a pre-drilled hole for attaching the ChickenGuard cord, and is designed to ensure smooth operation within the runners to prevent the door sticking.
