Nupafeed Flex GLM (Green Lipped Mussel) joint supplement is a natural mineral feed additive for dogs containing only the highest quality freeze dried Green Lipped Mussel Extract. Our extract is prepared using a specialised freeze drying process which has been developed and approved in New Zealand, where the mussels are sourced. This method of production avoids any heat or chemical treatment so that the exceptional quality of the extract is maintained.

Green Lipped Mussel (Perna Canaliculus) is renowned for its soothing effect on joints. This unique extract encourages synovial fluid production that lubricates and cushions joints, and provides critical nutrients for the maintenance of joint cartilage and connective tissue. This complex natural product contains a balance of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) including high levels of chondroitin sulphate, minerals and omega-3 oils. These components work together synergistically to optimise joint function and give extraordinary all round care.

Flex GLM has been specially formulated to help maintain dogs taking part in high demand activities and those prone to stiffness and joint related problems. It contains freeze dried Green Lipped Mussel extract in its stabilised form, highly concentrated for maximum effectiveness.

We have added Magnesium to balance calcium; this further supports bone strength, ensures effective utilisation of calcium and prevents calcium from pooling in soft tissues. The favoured anti-oxidants, Selenium and Vitamin E, assist with cell repair and work to ‘mop up’ free radicals which are produced during work, so supporting post exercise recovery.
