Royal Canin canine hepatic (12kg) dry dog food, is a veterinary diet, carefully designed to assist dogs who suffer with chronic hepatitis, liver failure and disease, copper disorders and hepatic encephalopathy. If it important to remember that this food is not suitable for pregnant dogs, lactating dogs, dogs with a history of pancreatitis and hyperlipidaemia. This food contains easy-to-digest vegetable based proteins, in the form of soya protein. In addition, this diet contains a low copper formulation with increased zinc content, high levels of antioxidants and calories from fat rather than from excess protein, which prevents excess protein breakdown, which negatively affect the liver, in dogs with liver problems.
