The essential oils are obtained via steam distillation, meaning no ethanol is used in the process. All our products are free from harsh chemicals and safe for both animals and humans.

The Barrier range falls into the exempt category of products which use only plant oils as active ingredients, as listed in Annexe IIB (Pesticides) of Council Regulation (EEC)  No 2092/91 (as amended).
Suitable for use in organic farming systems. There is no meat withdrawal period required.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Blowfly Repel is an HSE-licensed formula that quickly repels biting and bloodsucking pests, including Blowfly, Ticks, Lice, Keds and other ectoparasites. This product is especially effective where animals have been struck, to rid the animal of maggots and soothe irritation. The anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties combined with special plant oils help moisturise the skin and keep it in good condition.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Always shake the bottle vigorously before use.
Apply liberally, avoiding the eyes and nasal area. Spray all the way along the spine including tail head. Also spray under the tail and between the buttocks. Rub deep down into the fleece. Apply directly to bitten or irritated areas for soothing effects.

Each trigger pull dispenses 3 mls of product. Apply up to 7 trigger pulls for adult sheep and up to 3 pulls for lambs.  If a trigger spray head gets blocked: submerge it in warm water and spray through, using both squirt and mist nozzles, until it clears.

For animals with highly sensitive skin, it is advisable to carry out a small patch test before use in case of any allergy.

INGREDIENTS

Barrier’s unique formulas are proprietary so we do not publish the exact ratios of ingredients.

Active Ingredient: Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil, Hydrated, Cyclized, 0.70% w/w. This product is approved as non-hazardous under the Retained CLP Regulation (EU) No.1272/2008 as amended for Great Britain.

STORAGE
Ensure the lid is kept tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry place that is out of direct sunlight, heat or freezing temperatures.

EXPIRY DATE
The shelf life is 2 years from date of manufacture. Please check the yellow sticker on bottom of pot for precise date details.

PRECAUTIONS
Do not use near foodstuffs, eating utensils or food contact surfaces. Wash hands and exposed skin before meals and after use.

Keep in a safe place away from sunlight. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.

To avoid risks to human or animal health, or the environment, comply with the instructions for use.
