Equigard is used in the nutrition of good-keeping, overweight horses requiring a diet low in sugar and starch or having an increased risk for metabolic disorders due to their constitution. To stabilise the insulin function and the carbohydrate and fat metabolism,
vital substances such as magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium, omega-3 fatty acids, lecithin and antioxidants such as vitamin E and fruit flavonoids are particularly important.

Warm air dried chopped grass (low glycemics) 22%, apple fibres, sugar beet fibres, linseeds 4,4 %,apple syrup, maize germs, oil mixture cold pressed (linseed-, sunflower-, maize germ oil) 3,5 %,herbs (chamomile, fennel, rosemary, coriander, fenugreek, milk thistle seeds) 3 %, alfalfa fibre,brewer's yeast, isomaltose prebiotic 1,5 %, grape seed extract, rice bran, salt, calcium carbonate (maritime and mineral), carrots, garlic, seaweed meal
