Tetra Pond AlgoFin* effectively combats the most prevalent algae types, such as blanketweed, floating and slime algae in ornamental ponds. The special active ingredient will be selectively absorbed by algae and inhibits their ability to do photosynthesis. This way the algae are destroyed in a period of two to three weeks. Tetra Pond AlgoFin* prevents further algae growth at the same time. This product is suitable for ornamental ponds with fish, plants and microorganisms. To achieve the best possible result shake Tetra Pond AlgoFin* well before use and follow the detailed instructions. Thanks to the included dosing cap, Tetra Pond AlgoFin* can be dosed very precisely. Use the dosing cap and add 50 ml per 1,000 L of pond water and distribute the liquid evenly in the water, for example with a stick. Remove as much algae as possible before and after the treatment, e.g. using the Tetra Algae Net, since dead algae impair the water quality. Ensure a sufficient oxygen supply and do not filter using UV clarifiers or activated carbon for at least seven days after the addition of the product. During the treatment do not undertake any water changes for four weeks. To fight heavy algae growth, you can repeat the treatment using half of the stated amount after these four weeks.
